Mick Worsfold Profile
This website was inspired by starting research on my Mothers
father William Trangmar and it all snowballed from there.
As I write this the events database has some 1200 references
in it, with a further 800 in the developing Tranmar/Tranmer part.

So a bit about me, I was born in Shalford, Surrey in 1951, I have
one sister Carol born in 1944, she moved to Canada in 1962.

Our mother Frances Margaret Trangmar was born at 2, Beech Hill,
Hambledon, Surrey on the 1st June 1918 the only child of William
and Margaret Trangmar (nee Hammond) who were married at
Hambledon on the 15th December 1913.

Educated at Shalford County Primary before moving to Tillingbourne
County Secondary at Chilworth. Apprenticed as an electrician in
industrial installation, after working in other disciplines of the trade
the last 25 years have been spent in the Pharmaceutical industry
currently as a Calibration and Environmental Engineer.

Married to Angela at Shalford in 1980 and lived in the Guildford area
before relocating to Eastbourne, Sussex in 1983. We have two
daughters, Kerri (1987) and Lynsey (1989).
